AI
What Does AI Mean in a Text?
AI means "Artificial Intelligence."Artificial Intelligence (AI), refers to the development of computer systems able to perform tasks that usually require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages.
There are several different types of AI:
- Narrow AI: This type of AI is designed to perform a narrow task (e.g., facial recognition or internet searches) and can only operate under a limited set of constraints. It's the only AI in widespread use today.
- General AI: More commonly referred to as "Artificial General Intelligence" (AGI), this refers to a type of AI that can understand, learn, adapt, and implement knowledge in a wide variety of tasks at the level of a human being. AGI is still largely theoretical.
- Superintelligent AI: This refers to an AI that surpasses human intelligence in practically every field. Like AGI, this type of AI is still purely theoretical.
